Dr. Zeiad Yossry, Professor of Neurosurgery and Parkinson's Disease, participated in a pre-congress workshop for the annual joint neurosurgery congress organized by the Armed Forces, Ain Shams University, Al-Azhar University, and the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons. The workshop was held from July 25 to 26, 2017, at Al-Demerdash University Hospital.
Dr. Zeiad Yossry participated in a hands-on training on targeting techniques for movement disorders. Movement disorders are a group of neurological conditions that cause abnormal movements, which may include hyperkinesia (such as spasms, tremors, or shaking) and/or hypokinesia (slowed or decreased movement). These disorders can affect voluntary movements or cause uncontrolled (involuntary) movements. Dr. Zeiad Yossry is committed to providing workshops and practical training for colleagues, keen to develop neurosurgery in Egypt, which positively impacts patients' quality of life.
